Before this project I had no idea how an API worked or how to even retrieve that data. Because of my excitement to get this project off the ground I learned the basics of API data in about 3 days.

The Goal

  • View the optimal layout for the app depending on their device's screen size
  • See hover states for all interactive elements on the page
  • Generate a new piece of advice by clicking the dice icon
